The COM300 enabled anyone to call a data logger via phone to receive a verbal report of real-time site conditions. The data logger could be programmed to report specific conditions or to allow a caller to select specific information by pressing numbers on a touch-tone phone. The COM300 supported data transfer rates of 9600, 1200, and 300 between data logger and PC.
