The SC-CPI adds CPI bus functionality to your CR800, CR850, CR1000, and CR3000 dataloggers, which is necessary for them to connect to the CDM (Campbell Distributed Module) devices and other CPI-enabled sensors. The SC-CPI connects to the data logger using the C1, C2, and C3 ports. The SC-CPI is not required for, or supported by, data loggers with a native CPI interface. Campbell Scientific strongly recommends that CDMs be connected to data loggers with a native CPI interface, such as the CR6.
